Consultants to assist with specific issues and charges
We have consultants on call to advise on specific charges and issues. These include how to handle being designated as a sex offender while incarcerated and on supervision, as well as preparing your affairs before prison, entering the system, assisting a person in their successful re-entry, housing, and employment resources.
In addition, we are able to link individuals leaving prison with peer coaches in the community who can offer support and guidance while a person acclimates to the free world.
Walter DeVault
At the age of 21, Walter was arrested for the first time and was sentenced to 7 years of prison. He came from an affluent family and his exposure to the criminal world was limited to non-existent.
Within a year of incarceration, he began working in the law library. Subsequently, he became a Certified Law Clerk and worked with many different people on a wide range of criminal issues and convictions. He knows what it is like to face those steep daunting challenges and succeed. He learned the hard way so that you don’t have to.
